Bespoke software development starts with those requirements: what people need to design, which choices are allowed and what information must come out of the design.

From a design requirement to a development brief
Start with a description of the products or spaces you work with. Useful examples include product drawings, a list of permitted configurations, sample output documents and the rules that currently require manual checking.
We then discuss the proposed functions, the information the application needs and any systems it must exchange data with. The brief should identify who will use it, how designs will be created and which outputs are required. Scope, delivery stages, training and support are agreed for the individual development.
